Isidora is a wine inspired by one of the founders of Cousiño Macul, Isidora Goyenechea, a 19th century businesswoman who revolutionized the wine industry in Chile. The Sauvignon Gris cuttings were brought from the Graves region, in Bordeaux; With the passage of time and our selection methods, we have seen how it has adapted in an extraordinary way to the Maipo Valley.

Sauvignon Gris is usually the first fruit to be picked at the start of the Bordeaux wine harvest, as it is an early ripening varietal.
