ALL SPICED UP STROGANOFF
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
½ white onion, thinly sliced
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 pound mushrooms, thinly sliced
4 ounces cream cheese
½ to 1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Mushroom Madness
- Heat oil in a large non-stick skillet over high heat and sauté mushrooms and garlic, then add mushrooms and cook for about 15 minutes.
- Add ground meat, break up and cook thoroughly, about 5 minutes. Once the meat is browned, add remaining ingredients until cream cheese has melted.
- Serve over rice or pasta. (We love it best with rice made with beef broth instead of water.)
